Software Development Engineer II

Amazon Development Center Romania is looking for talented and enthusiastic software engineers to join the Platform Search team. You will be responsible for designing end-to-end applications, and applying the latest research to create reliable and efficient solutions to tricky technical problems at incredible scale. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for solving problems, deep technical knowledge of Java, and the ability to deliver high quality results.

Job Qualifications:

• Excellent architecture and design skills.
• Minimum of a B.S. in Computer Science or in a related field.
• Development expertise in Java.
• Experience building highly scalable applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven results-oriented person with a delivery focus a big plus.
